Step into the next generation of portable data collection with the 7400 mobile computer. The 7400 adds a Microsoft® Windows® CE operating
system to a modular hand held computer platform that features three choices
of keypads, a large VGA display, a high performance Intel® StrongARM™
206MHz RISC processor and, up to 320 MB of memory and optional touch screen
capability.
The 7400 provides ample, secure storage for data and
applications with its 32 MB RAM and 32 MB FLASH memory
configuration. Up to 256 MB additional memory for data storage
is available with an optional integrated compact flash card.
The terminal can easily be programmed with Microsoft®
eMbedded™Visual Tools, which contains CE versions of
Visual C++® and Visual Basic® .
Weighing 22.5 oz. (638 gm), the 7400 has a rugged
design that takes multiple 5-foot (1.5m) drops to concrete and
provides a single-handed use design. The terminal’s sealed
case resists water and dust. The 7400 also provides
a secure, ergonomic hand-shaped grip with an integrated
elastic hand strap. The 7400 meets varying needs in challenging
environments of transportation, logistics, warehousing,
delivery and route sales.
Available with a choice of three integrated imager options, the
7400 reads 1D and 2D symbologies (PDF417,
MaxiCode, QR Code and Data Matrix) and lets you record GIF
and JPEG images of shipping manifests, recipient signatures,
and damaged cartons. An optional ALR laser scanner is also
available for extended range scanning applications prevelant in
Warehousing and Distribution Centers.
The 7400 computer uses IQ Imaging™, a suite of features
unique to matrix imaging technology that includes enhanced
signature capture, improved picture taking and superior data
capture.
