The PartnerTech Castor is the flattest and most rugged retail bar code scanner that is also optimized for horizontal scanning. Its dense 5-field, 15 line scan pattern can scan rate of 1500 scans/sec which guarantees an excellent omnidirectional bar code reading. There's no need to lift and tilt a product due to the real vertical scan lines. The Castor features ID STAR code reconstruction software that allows easy reading of fragmented and damaged bar codes and is EAS compatible.
