Symbol LS4904 Details
The third generation of the LS4904 confirms Symbol's continuing commitment
to provide our customers with leadership in 2D laser scanning solutions.
With the LS4904 , Symbol customers can capitalize on PDF opportunities while
also supporting existing 1D systems and their applications.
The LS4904 delivers benchmark 2D raster laser scanning performance in a
rugged, compact and ergonomic single piece solution. Standard features such
as Laser Spot Mode and Smart Raster yield great scanning productivity independent
of environmental conditions. Through the use of the scanner's Laser Spot
Mode and its very bright 650nm laser diode, symbols can easily be located
even in bright sunlight.
The LS4904 provides all the same features found in the LS 4800 scanner with
the addition of an integrated battery pack for applications using portable
data collection devices. The LS4904 is a self-powered scanning system that
does not draw power from the host system but rather uses its own power source,
thereby ensuring a full work shift with no interruptions.
