The M2500 can connect to three different types of devices at the same time, including a 9-pin male serial connection for scanners, 5-pin DIN for wands and 8-pin DIN for magnetic stripe readers. 7. AML M100 Decoder

The AML M100 is a magnetic stripe data decoder that can easily be added to any existing computer setup. Use your current magnetic stripe reader to swipe credit cards, membership cards and other items with magnetic stripe data. The AML M100 then takes the undecoded data from the reader, decodes it, and passes it along to the computer via a pass-through keyboard input, allowing simultaneous connection of both a keyboard and the M100. The M100 package includes the decoder, a keyboard cable and product manual, and requires a magnetic stripe reader (purchase separately) with an 8-pin DIN connection.
  8. AML M1000 Decoder

The AML M1000 decodes Wand and Badge bar code readers through a keyboard wedge interface. An undecoded wand, badge or slot reader scans the bar code, passes the data to the M1000 which decodes it, and then passes the data to your computer via the keyboard port (the decoder and a keyboard can be plugged in simultaneously) where it appears on the screen as though it had been entered via the keyboard. The M1000 can decode all standard bar code technologies currently in use, and comes with the decoder unit, a keyboard cable, product manual and a setup menu. An undecoded wand, badge or slot bar code reader with a 5-pin DIN interface is required and must be purchased separately.
  9. AML M4000 Decoder

The AML M4000 decoder is designed for decoding bar code data with a laptop or other serial-equipped portable device. The M4000 is powered by a 9-volt battery, making it truly portable. The M4000 takes data from any scanner with a 9-pin DIN connector, decodes it, and transmits it to the host computer via the serial port. The AML M4000 comes with the decoder and integrated serial cable, a product manual and a setup guide. Requires an undecoded, low-voltage scanner (not included) with a 9-pin DIN connection.
  10. AML M6000 Decoder

The AML M6000 makes wireless bar code collection and decoding quick and simple. Connect an undecoded serial scanner to the M6000's serial port and begin scanning. The M6000 decodes scanned data and sends it to the M6200 wireless base station, which receives the data and transfers the data to the host computer. Up to 10 M6000 s can interact with each base station, helping storeroom inventory counts complete quickly. The AML M6000 has a range of up to 150 feet and confirms valid scans with a beep. After a few minutes of inactivity the M6000 automatically powers down to conserve energy. Choose the AML M6000 and go wireless!
