EtherLite from Digi offers a cost-effective network serial concentrator for retail/POS, process control, data collection and other applications requiring serial port connectivity over an Ethernet network. It multiplexes all serial ports into a single TCP/IP session, minimizing Ethernet traffic. It is available in 2, 8, 16 or 32 port versions with port speeds up to 115 Kbps. Device drivers are available for UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
