The PPT 2700 + Series, a member of the Pocket PC-based terminals, combines the strengths of the Pocket PC platform with productivity-enhancing features that include bar code scanning and real-time wireless communication options. All PPT 2700 + Pocket PC terminals include a rechargeable 1400 mAh lithium ion battery and an integrated Symbol bar code laser scanner capable of reading both 1D bar codes and/or standard 2D PDF417 bar codes. This new series of products is well suited for applications in markets that include work and field automation, transportation, health care, hospitality, warehousing and many others. Designed to fit comfortably in either hand, the PPT 2700 + operates bytouch or pen input and allows the user to navigate applications through thefamiliar Windows-based environment. Buttons and triggers are ergonomically positionedto ensure convenient one-handed operation in either hand. Weighing less than12 oz/335 gm and measuring only 7 in./17.8 cm high, the PPT 2700 + enables usersto capture, compute and communicate data from anywhere across the enterprise.

A member of the "Extreme Environments" category of Symbol products, the SymbolPPT 2700 + is sealed to IP54 standards for protection against windblown rain anddust, and withstands multiple drops to concrete up to 4-ft/1.2 m.
