Portable, pocket-ready, and wearable Weighing less than four ounces and just a half-inch thick, the EC30 is easy to carry in a pocket, worn comfortably on a lanyard, clipped to a uniform, or attached to a holster or armband.

The 3-inch color display is perfectly sized to show the necessary information for associates to perform key tasks swiftly and efficiently, whether checking item prices or restocking inventory. The use of Android provides instant familiarity, while the EC30’s capacitive touch technology allows use with a finger, even through light gloves.
Instant, no-cost push-to-talk (PTT)
PTT services are available immediately with Mobility DNA’s PTT Express. With a simple button press, associates can easily connect with team members to address customer inquiries, notify the stockroom to bring items to the floor, or communicate with a manager for assistance. The result? A more cohesive and responsive team, leading to enhanced customer service. PTT Express is pre-installed and pre-licensed on every EC30, enabling instant PTT communications with any other PTT Express-equipped Zebra mobile device within your facility. Need advanced PTT features like private calls and group calls via WiFi, locationing, and more? Enable them easily with Mobility DNA’s Workforce Connect PTT Pro, an optional cloud-based service that can be set up in a day.
Advanced cordless deskphone functions
Allow workers to answer PBX calls from anywhere in the store with the EC30 and Mobility DNA’s optional Workforce Connect Voice. Since this feature uses a Bluetooth or corded headset, privacy for callers is ensured. The results? No more extended hold times, dropped calls, lost customers, or missed sales.
Safe and easy text messaging
Workforce Connect PTT Pro provides secure text messaging, crucial for maintaining security in retail. Advanced messaging features include Message of the Day, which lets managers send important audio and video messages to all or select groups of workers, making it easy to communicate with associates who don’t have company email.
