Introducing WhereLAN III, the core messaging hub of Zebra’s Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS), adhering to the ISO/IEC 24730-2 standard. This advanced sensor intercepts low-power emissions from Zebra’s active RFID tags, named WhereTags, up to a range of 1,750 meters. With sophisticated signal processing capabilities, WhereLAN III measures the time-of-arrival of a WhereTag signal within a sub-nanosecond, achieving an impressive accuracy of up to one meter. This allows for precise tracking and integration of asset locations into your business operations. Additionally, WhereLAN III can interpret event messages from WhereCall button tags used in industrial settings to communicate when parts need replenishment or tasks are completed. The dependable Six-Sigma reliability of the WhereTag signal ensures accurate detection of WhereCall events. All data from WhereTag and WhereCall is relayed to Zebra’s Visibility Server Software (VSS), which determines asset locations and delivers timely, actionable visibility. The server software also offers integration tools to link RTLS data with other customer or third-party systems.
